A Design House

There's nothing better in our book than a strong sense of place. We're very visual and we love to edit, style, decorate and redecorate spaces to create an attractive, timeless, functional and comfortable area, indoors or out, commercial or residential for you and yours to enjoy.

Our style balances bold color with natural textures and and tones. Depending on the space, we work to either bring the outdoors in or maximizes outdoor living- our favorite! Porches, patios, greenhouses, tree houses, barns, gardens and nature inspire our work. We rearrange our own furniture frequently as well as most full moon nights. Function is key, collections are our kryptonite and living sourrounded by what you love is paramount.

Our design services start at $50/hr project specific. Following an initial consultation we provide clients with a thorough scope of work, budget, timeline, inspiration boards, color pallet as well as sourcing name brand and one-of-a-kind products (garage sales and antique shops are our jam!). Our high-quality one of a kind furnishings and original artwork of Fieldguide Farmhouse are for sale to design clients and guests. We look forward to working with you to transform your vision for a space into a reality. References and design portfolio available upon request.

The Compass Points Here

Photographer, printmaker and outdoor enthusiast, Courtney Kent of Traverse City captures stunning scenes of nature in her debut Fresh Water Studies exhibit with woodblock transfer photography. Tranquil water scenes of northern Michigan's inland and Great Lakes as well as beloved Petoskey stones bring the outdoors in. Printed on clean square birch panels, these scenes elevate any space with the gems of our region.

Dani Knoph Wildlife

Fish art almost comes to life in Dani's detailed paintings. Her realistic and colorful fieldguide like depictions of native and non-native species are guaranteed to be trophy works of art in any space. The fish float in her now limited edition custom hand-made frames as well as pop against color and white walls. Framed and unframed prints are available. Dani paints, researches, advocates and writes fighting for Michigan's fish and wildlife in partnership with the Department of Natural Resources to restore Arctic Grayling and beyond.
