2019 In House Artists

Each spring we celebrate Earth Day by rotating in-house artists who’s work celebrates the natural beauty of northern Michigan. We redecorate the main floor living spaces with fun, creative and captivating nature-based works. We are honored to showcase art! All works are for sale and available to view in person by appointment.

The Compass Points Here

Photographer, printmaker and outdoor enthusiast, Courtney Kent of Traverse City captures stunning scenes of nature in her debut Fresh Water Studies exhibit with woodblock transfer photography. Tranquil water scenes of northern Michigan's inland and Great Lakes as well as beloved Petoskey stones bring the outdoors in. Printed on clean square birch panels, these scenes elevate any space with the gems of our region.

Catherine Corden Art

Painter, physical therapist and northern Michigander at heart, Catherine’s ‘Lake Lovers’ collection, available exclusively at Fieldguide Farmhouse, celebrates our area’s favorite past time: lake days spent soaking up the sun with your feet in the sand gathered around by friends, family, dogs, beverages and snacks. Click on the image to view the entire collection and we have additional prints available, as well.
